Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church

What to Expect?

Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church is located in Gray, on Suncrest Street less than one minute off Interstate 26 at exit 13, behind the Burger King. When you arrive at the church, you will find our main parking lot behind our facilities. As you approach the main auditorium, one of our hospitality greeters will meet you and direct you to the right classes or to the service. They can also answer other questions you might have.

During the 10:00 am hour, there are Sunday School classes for all ages. These classes are small group settings where you are invited to meet people around your age, fellowship with others, and hear a Bible lesson directly focused on your life-stage. The best way to get to know people at Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church is to visit one of these classes.

In our morning worship service at 11:00, we seek to glorify God through Christ-exalting music and clear, helpful Bible preaching. This service generally lasts a little over an hour. At the end of the service every first-time guest is invited to pick up a special gift at the Welcome Center in the main lobby.

Where do I take my children?

As a first-time guest, we realize that you won’t know where everything is; so, we would like to help you find the appropriate nurseries, classes, and services for every person in your family. Our greeters and ushers are located around the church and will gladly help direct and even escort you to the right places.

Starting with excellent nurseries, there is something special for every child. During every service there are safe, clean, and well-staffed nurseries for children two years old and under. To the parents of infants, pagers will be given so that the nursery attendants can easily contact them if there is a need. For children three years old through sixth grade, there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church helpful, exciting and memorable for your children.

What about my teens?

We have an active youth ministry that meets in the lower level of the main church building during the 10 am hour. Our Youth Department is divided into gender and grade specific classes that are taught by dedicated, experienced teachers.

How should I dress?

There is not a dress code at Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Buffalo Ridge.
