Organized in 1779 as the oldest church in the state of Tennessee, Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church is still reaching others for Christ.  Through the faithful ministry of Dr. Gene Lasley, Pastor Emeritus, he stood unapologetically for the old time preaching of the Word of God at Buffalo Ridge for 46 years.  

On Sunday, September 20, 2009, Dr. Jody Jenkins became the new pastor at Buffalo Ridge.  Our special guest for this day was Dr. Clarence Sexton, President of Crown College and Pastor of Temple Baptist Church in Powell, TN.  We are thankful for Jody and his family, and are looking forward to the great things the Lord has in store for us here at Buffalo Ridge.
