Organized in 1779 as the oldest church in the state of Tennessee, Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church is still reaching others for Christ.  Through the faithful ministry of our pastor,   Dr. Gene Lasley, he has stood unapologetically for the old time preaching of the Word of God at Buffalo Ridge for over 45 years. 

On Sunday, August 30, 2009, Dr. Gene Lasley will be retiring as our pastor.  We thank him for his faithful years of leading this great church for the glory of God.  There will be a reception held in his honor after the evening service on this day.
